Welcome to Estill County High School!  

At Estill County High School, our desire is to help every student reach his/her potential.  During the 2023-24 school year, our students and staff showed tremendous growth, resulting in ECHS becoming a Distinguished, High-Performing School on state accountability. We reached the green level and grew 18 points on state accountability. In 2024-25, we are working hard to continue that growth so that all students in Estill County receive an education that prepares them for life after high school.

At ECHS, we strive to help all of our students stay on TRACK to reach their full potential by demonstrating the characteristics of Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Character, and Kindness.  These are all traits that will help students be successful in high school and beyond.

Our mission is to ensure that all students who attend ECHS graduate academic and/or career ready.  We want a diploma at ECHS to mean that our students are ready for the next step of their lives.
